ddns3-client software package provides Issues dynamic DNS v3 requests, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ddns3-client
ddns3-client is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ddns3-client package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ddns3-client *
You will get with ddns3-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
